About Us
At Black Mothers Forum, we believe the most important conversations in life don’t happen in a classroom or a boardroom — they happen at home. Around the dinner table. With the people who matter most.
We’re a community of families committed to raising kids who are capable, confident, and ready to create value in the world. We do that by equipping parents with the tools, conversations, and systems they need to build strong families and financially literate kids.
What started as a desire to teach kids financial skills has grown and evolved into a movement to empower millions. We’ve helped thousands of families across the world shift from chaos and entitlement to clarity, purpose, and peace.
No more constant fights about chores, endless battles over screen time, or frustration with kids who “just don’t get it.” At Black Mothers Forum, we give you the framework to raise kids who take initiative, solve real problems, and grow into adults you’re proud of.
Black Mothers Forum isn’t just a course — it’s a community. We combine bite-sized learning with practical systems, family-led conversations, and support from other like-minded parents.
Through our:
Family Economy System— a proven method to teach value creation and responsibility
Step-by-step tools and workshops— that help you build rhythms that last
Global community of parents— cheering each other on through real-life wins and challenges
Live coaching and expert sessions — to guide you as you lead your family
We’re here to walk with you — no matter what your starting point is.

FAMILY COACHES
To equip one million families to raise value creators — kids who don’t just consume, but contribute.
Every child is capable. Every parent is powerful. And every family can build something remarkable — starting right where they are.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. And it starts at your dinner table.
Behind Black Mother Forum is a passionate, battle-tested team of parents, educators, and entrepreneurs who believe families are the greatest place to grow future value creators.
Rev. Janelle Wood, Founder & CEO called the first meeting of Black mothers to order on August 7, 2016 for our first Black Mothers Forum meeting.
Our focus was on addressing the many concerns about the safety and welfare of our Black children, especially our Black sons. We want to dismantle the systems that have adversely impacted our Black community, and begin to create safe and supportive environments for our children and families.
Our amazing team of parent advocates are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action.
Think you would be a good fit? Our children need you!
